HarborLight Terms & EULA
HarborLight: Life Admin is published by The SAV Solution LLC and licensed under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. These terms explain how that license works alongside subscriptions, accuracy limits, and acceptable use.
Effective date: August 2, 2026 · Last updated: August 2, 2026
HarborLight is licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement.
1. The license that governs HarborLight
HarborLight is governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement unless a future custom EULA is explicitly published through App Store Connect for HarborLight. We have not published a custom EULA, and nothing on this page is intended to replace or conflict with Apple’s Standard EULA. Where this page and Apple’s Standard EULA differ on licensing, Apple’s Standard EULA controls.
2. Subscriptions and billing
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled through your Apple Account at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Apple handles billing, renewals, refunds, and subscription management.
- Your Apple Account is charged at confirmation of purchase and again at each renewal.
- Manage or cancel at Apple Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions → HarborLight.
You can also manage subscriptions at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Deleting HarborLight or its data does not cancel a subscription.
3. What HarborLight is
HarborLight is an organization, explanation, and decision-support tool. It helps you import, read, organize, and keep track of documents and life-admin records.
HarborLight does not replace legal, medical, financial, tax, insurance, employment, regulatory, or other professional advice, and using it does not create a professional relationship of any kind.
4. Accuracy and verification
HarborLight does not guarantee that OCR results, extracted facts, deadlines, interpretations, explanations, or information retrieved from external sources are complete, current, or error-free. Automated document reading can misread values and can miss context.
- Verify high-stakes information against the original document.
- Verify with the issuing organization — the agency, insurer, lender, provider, or manufacturer — when the consequences matter.
- You remain responsible for deciding whether to send, file, pay, sign, delete, or share anything.
5. Your responsibilities and acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Misuse HarborLight or use it for any unlawful purpose
- Interfere with, disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the app or any connected service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code except where that restriction is prohibited by law
- Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others, including by importing or sharing material you have no right to use
- Use HarborLight to share another person's sensitive documents without their permission
You are responsible for the content you import, for the people you invite to Trusted Household sharing, and for keeping your device and Apple Account secure.
6. Intellectual property
HarborLight, the HarborLight and The SAV Solution names and branding, and the original software, design, and written content of the app belong to The SAV Solution LLC and are protected by intellectual property law. Your documents and the records you create remain yours; we claim no ownership of your content.
7. Warranty disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and except for any warranty terms provided under Apple’s Standard EULA or required by applicable consumer law, HarborLight is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, in which case they apply to you only to the extent permitted.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The SAV Solution LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, missed deadlines, or costs arising from reliance on information HarborLight produced. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim relating to HarborLight is limited to the amount you paid for HarborLight in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Termination
You may stop using HarborLight at any time by deleting the app and, if you wish, deleting your HarborLight data. We may suspend or end access if these terms are violated or if required by law or by Apple. Sections covering intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and governing law survive termination.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your country of residence requires otherwise. This does not limit any rights Apple’s Standard EULA or your local consumer law gives you.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as HarborLight changes. The effective and last-updated dates at the top of this page will be revised, and continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
